Stephenville Celebrates 50 years,

Mayor Cec Stein gives a heartfelt speech, congratulating the Town of Stephenville and all of its past mayors, councilors and residents on making the town what it is today.

Onlookers were entertained by a long line of community representatives including the air cadets, helping to celebrate 50 years of growth in the town of Stephenville.

Sea Cadets march to the Stephenville Town Hall, where celebrations will continue.

Special guests of the anniversary celebrations bow in reverence as Father O'Quinn says of prayer of thanks in honour of this great town and it's residents.

Cadets line across the town hall parking lot, listening to speakers such as Mayor Cecil Stein and Minister of Environment Kevin Alyward speaking of Stephenville as a milestone.

Bob Byrnes, co-chair of the 50th Anniversary Committee says a few words of praise and thanks to the Town of Stephenville and its residents for their continuos support.
